Vitamix Recipe: Lactose-free Chocolate Banana Cashew Smoothie

A delicious and lactose-free smoothie that's perfect for before or after a workout, as a meal replacement, or as a healthy and filling snack. Try experimenting with almonds, macadamias, or any other nut you like!

Serves: 2
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1 or 2 handfuls of cashews
  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (I use lactose-free Muscle Milk)
  • 1 banana (peeled)
  • 1 cup of water
  1. Put all the items in the blender in the order shown.
  2. Start on low speed, then gradually increase to high (or use smoothie pre-set).
  3. Blend for 30-45 seconds (based on the consistency you like).
  4. Serve and enjoy!
